The Hard Hat Club is a unique program to assist the West Valley City, Taylorsville and Kearns business communities and their customers during road construction projects. 3500 South road construction is underway and the informational website on the project can be found at http://udot.utah.gov/3500South. Granite Construction is the contractor for the project. The Hard Hat Club is designed to assist businesses during construction to assist customers and residents doing business during construction. This website contains business specials and promotions and alternative maps to access businesses along 3500 South. Hard Hat Club member businesses are able to use several benefits as part of the Hard Hat Club. These include discounted advertising in the West Valley Journal and the Taylorsville/Kearns Journal and free text messaging service for your customers via SumoText. The 35th South Hard Hat Club is anticipated to run for two construction cycles, 2009 and a portion of 2010. ChamberWest members are eligible to participate in the club at no cost. Businesses who are not members of the chamber of commerce may participate in the 35th South Hard Hat Club for a modest Club membership fee. Interested businesses can call the chamber to join the Club at 801-977-8755. Proceeds from the Hard Hat Club are used to promote the Hard Hat Club during the entire construction season. |
