program to ‘Move Business Forward’ during road construction. |

The Hard
Hat Club |

The Hard
Hat Club is a unique program to assist the West Valley City, Taylorsville and
Kearns business communities and their customers during road construction
projects. The
first Hard Hat Club is the 35th South Hard Hat Club due to the 3500 South road project
which is scheduled to begin early November 2008 and continue through July
2010. Businesses along 3500 South
between 2200 West and 4000 West are eligible to participate. This
site will provide chamber members and Hard Hat Club members a place to post
promotions and discounts for use by the community during the construction
season as well as alternative routes to local businesses that do not use the
construction corridor. The 35th
South Hard Hat Club is
anticipated to run for two construction cycles, 2009 to July 2010. ChamberWest members are eligible to
participate in the club at no cost. (Individual excluded). Businesses who are not members of the
chamber of commerce may participate in the 35th South Hard Hat Club for a
modest Club membership fee. Interested
businesses can call the chamber to join at 801-977-8755. Proceeds
from the Hard Hat Club are used to promote the Hard Hat Club during the
entire construction season. |
